RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF HEAD CONSTABLE (EDUCATION & STRESS COUNSELLOR) Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens (Male & Female) to fill up the following vacant posts of Head Constable (Education & Stress Counsellor), Group-'C' (nongazetted and non-ministerial) as given below in the Level-4 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 25,500-81,000 (as per 7th CPC) & other allowances as admissible in the Force:-

 i) Total vacancies include Backlog vacancies and may vary (increase and decrease) due to administrative reasons. 

ii) 10% of the vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen. In case vacancy reserved for Ex-servicemen remains unfilled due to non-availability of eligible or qualified candidates, the same shall be filled by other candidates. 

iii) As per MHA guidelines, if a situation so arises wherein the women candidates in the horizontal compartmentalized reservation in any of the vertical reservation categories are not available, then the posts shall be filled up from among the male candidates from the concerned vertical reservation categories.

2. Application Fee:-

 Rs. 100/- for Male candidates belonging to General(UR)/OBC Category through the ITBP Recruitment website Fees are exempted for females, Exservicemen and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category.

ITBPF was raised on 24 Oct,1962. Presently ITBP is deployed on border guarding duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 km of Indo-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes ranging from 9000’ to 18700’ in the Western, Middle and Eastern Sector of the Indo-China Border.ITBPF is a specialized mountain Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers. Being the first responder for natural disaster in the Himalayas, ITBPF has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations.
Adventure and dare-devilry are the required professional skills for the ITBP and therefore from its ranks come the world class mountaineers who have scaled more than a hundred Himalayan peaks, including the Mount Everest, four times. Its skiers have been national champions, who have done India proud in the winter Olympics. Its river rafters have created international history in rafting through the turbulent white waters of the mighty Brahmaputra, the Indus and the Ganga.
