Eligibility Criteria for Assam Police Recruitment:
For Un-Armed Branch:- H.S. or Class XII passed from a recognized Board or Council for the post of Constable, Unarmed Branch, District Executive Force (DEF).
For Armed Branch:- H.S.L.C or Class-X passed from a recognized Board or Council for the post of constable of Armed Branch.
Salary: – Rs.14,000- 49,000 plus grade pay Rs.5,600 per month.
Selection Process: – Candidates will be selected based on Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET), written test.
Written Test: – Selection will be based on Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) and Written Test.
Physical standards:-
  • Height (Minimum) Male – Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC 162.56 cm and ST (H)/ ST (P) 160.02 cm.
  • Height (Minimum) Female – Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC 154.94 cm and ST (H)/ ST (P) 152.40 cm.
  • Chest – Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P) etc, 80Cm (Normal) 85 Cm (Expanded) and ST(H) 78 (Normal) Cm 83 Cm (Expanded).
  • Weight – Proportionate to height and age as per medical standard.
